Entrepreneurs! Avoid the Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS)

Entrepreneurs! Avoid the Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS)

Are you an entrepreneur or in the process to start your journey to become one?

You’ve come to the right place.

I am going not only going to share with you one of the most significant obstacles that blinded my sight for quite a while, but also what has changed everything for me.

Reading this article will save you money, energy and lots of your valuable time.

But before diving right into this, let me tell you that before starting my entrepreneurial journey I had no clue about marketing, list building or any of the skills one needs to be a successful online entrepreneur.

In fact, I did not even understand what marketing means and what the exact things are a marketer does on a regular basis.

I was very introverted and thought by working from home on the internet I would be able to stay pretty much anonymous and was dreaming of people storming my website and earn good money from this.

Thinking I merely would need to copy the successful gurus I tried to become like them.

I was not myself anymore.

I couldn’t have gone more wrong.

I’ve learned the hard way that this would not attract people to me, but in contrary, push them away from me.

Being YOU is good enough.

Before I came to this conclusion, I subscribed to so many gurus email lists that it was hard to keep up reading their emails.Entrepreneurs! Avoid the Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS) - janinelhinnawy.com

While surely it is a good thing to learn from the pros, you shouldn’t be comparing yourself to them.

Plus it will get you distracted from your goal leading you to many sales pages filled up with shiny objects promising you the stars from the sky.

My recommendation, ask yourself first if that thing is indeed going to advance your business.

Sleeping over it before taking a decision is never a bad thing.

These shiny objects are not only going to cost you lots of money but more importantly, they require lots of your precious time.

In my opinion, your primary focus should be on becoming a more powerful, influential and independent entrepreneur, who knows how to market and drive big amounts of quality traffic to his websites and offers.

Yes, you will need to invest in yourself and learn the new skills from a good mentor, who does what he says and has proof in form of lots of good testimonials.

So before you invest in any program or product, make sure it is what you need, and you are not buying just because it looks so shiny, promising you the newest shortcut to riches.

There is no shortcut.

However, investing in education that will teach you the skills you need and the right mindset is what will indeed set you apart from the rest of the entrepreneurs out there.

Imagine if the people looking for someone to show them the way to success would come to YOU for advice and guidance because they feel that you are authentic and truly want to help them to live the good life they want.

I invite you to stop looking for the secret outside of yourself because the skills you are learning on your journey will stay with you forever, but that shiny product might just be there for a short time before disappearing into the depth of the online ocean of endless information.

People don’t need more information anyway.

I used to have an overwhelming load of information to go through every day but that didn’t get me advancing.

It actually blocked me from real growth.

Over the past month, I’ve grown a lot, thanks to the directions I get from ‘The Challenge.’

But what is ‘The Challenge?’

An education for entrepreneurs who want to step up their game and want to become more powerful and independent.

If you are constantly spinning your wheels to get more traffic, conversions, and sales, then it might be something for you.

Just consider it.

Check it out here.
